“Reality” a mini-collaboration between and

I interpreted the poem from my own perspective after reading it. I basically “envisioned” the false skin that we wear everyday to either hide away the truth or pretend that we are something that we are really not. By doing this, we create our own “reality” that people perceive to be “real” but really is not. False skin, false masks, false feelings, false emotions are always there and are never let go until we are willing to leave them behind us and show our true selves. Of course, this is easier said than done … as Dave illustrates in his poem…
